You know it's slow when you receive the following from a very funny comedian friend of ours:

Hello Ed. I hope you are well.

This has been the slowest couple of months I’ve seen over the past 30 years that I’ve been in the business. It’s crazy! I spend most of my days sitting around my home-office waiting for the phone to ring. It doesn’t. Twice I’ve had the phone company come to my home to check and see if my phone was broken. It’s not. I had my hearing checked three times to see if maybe I just wasn’t hearing the phone ring. My ears are fine. Worse of all, my wife is getting sick and tired of having me home almost every night of the week. Can you blame her? Would you want to be around me almost every night of the week? I wouldn’t!
